Undoubtedly, a game which has taken the world by storm in the last couple of days is Pokemon Go!

As said in many magazines, everyone is catching the Pokemon fever again! Just like old times!!

If your new to this and if your wondering what's all this about - Pokemon Go, is a mobile game designed to play by predominantly making use of your GPS. Quoting Vox, Pokémon Go uses your phone’s GPS and clock to detect where and when you are in the game and make Pokémon "appear" around you (on your phone screen) so you can go and catch them! As you keep moving around or in other worlds travelling from place to place, more types of Pokémon will appear depending on your place and time! The idea is to encourage you to travel around the real world to catch Pokémon in the game.

However, our very own technical nerds at Spinta figured out a primitive issue that could possibly erupt on your Android phone - "Is your game incapable of tracking its GPS signal?" (Check below picture)

Here's a simple solution to crack the bug!

  • Go to your phone Settings -> Developer Options.
  • spintadigital-mobileapp

  • Under Developer Options, take a look at your "Allow Mock Locations" button.
  • The "Allow Mock Locations" box would be "checked" by default. Uncheck it!

  • Log in back into your game.
  • Your location can now be tracked.
